Enjoy a taste of Park at our new enrichment camps!  Campers entering Kindergarten through grade 8 can safely explore our 34-acre campus, learn from our dedicated faculty, make new friends and master new skills.

Fee:  $250 for a half-day session.

Morning (AM) sessions run from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  

Afternoon (PM) sessions run from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Campers can attend ONLY ONE SESSION each week (not both an AM and a PM).

Lunch and snacks are NOT provided.

FRENCH (Grades K-4)

Bonjour! Bienvenue! Come and learn French with us in an authentic play environment: games, songs, and simple crafts with our Lower School French teacher. Do you know how to sing Frère Jacques? or play 1, 2, 3, soleil? or build the Eiffel Tower? You will!

SOCCER (Grades K-4)

Kick off the soccer season early! Players will learn soccer fundamentals from caring and experienced coaches. Each day they will learn new techniques and refine existing skills through fun drills. Players should bring cleats, shin guards, and a soccer ball.  (AM & PM sessions will be the same programs.)

DANCE (Grades 4-7)

5, 6, 7, 8! Campers can expect non-stop fun as they dance the day away learning jazz, hip hop, musical theater, and lyrical dance styles. Dance camp is a great way to move, make new friends, and experience the joy of dance in a supportive atmosphere. Designed for all levels. No prior dance experience necessary.

PHOTOGRAPHY (Grades 5-8)

July 13-17 AM

With a waterfall, pond, marsh, stream, and wildlife galore, The Park School is the ideal setting for outdoor photography!  Photographers will explore various techniques and partake in daily photography challenges to hone their skills.  They will use Adobe Photoshop and Premiere to catalog their journey into a video as a keepsake of their time on campus. Photographers must bring their own digital cameras or phones.

ENGINEERING (Grades 5-8)

Campers will experience the engineering process of design, build, test, and redesign through hands-on projects.  Projects will include launching projectiles using PVC devices and constructing a structuring out of balsa wood to hold a maximum load among other smaller scale activities that introduce campers to concepts used by mechanical and civil engineers.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

(Grades 7-12)

Explore the outdoors and use the creative design process to develop a business model for a nature plant nursery.  Entrepreneurs will research the environmental importance of native plants, grow them in our campus greenhouse and design a plan to market and sell them.  Each entrepreneur will receive a native plant to take home to start their own butterfly garden.

Shalom!  Come and learn basic Hebrew and Jewish history through play, building and yoga.  Campers will discover Jewish artifacts, reenact stories from the Bible, and practice the Alef bet letters with yoga.

Campers will explore topics and techniques used in the field of forensics to find evidence and reconstruct crimes scenes.  Campers will learn and practice techniques in observation, crime scene preservation, blood collection and analysis, time of death determinations, skeletal analysis, and fingerprinting.

UKELELE (Grades 5-8)

Ukulele Camp is perfect for brand new beginners as well as those looking to refine their already budding ukulele skills. Campers will learn the history of the ukulele, the basic parts of the ukulele, chords and strumming patterns, and by the end of camp will be able to play along to some of their favorite songs! Ukuleles will be provided, but if campers already have their own ukulele, they are more than welcome to bring it. Additional activities with percussion instruments and movement will be incorporated throughout this fun, active camp!

INFORMATION about the Park experience

Campers can ONLY attend ONE SESSION each week. (They cannot sign up for an AM and a PM session.)

When can I register?

Registration is open from June 14 through July 5.

What session can my child attend?

The grade your child is entering NEXT school year (2020-2021) will tell you which sessions they are eligible for.  Each session has the grades listed beside the title.

What time are camps each day?

The morning or AM Session is from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  

The afternoon or PM Session is from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Is lunch included?

No - lunch and snacks are NOT provided with this program.

What do we bring to camp?

All campers must bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a mask to camp daily.  Camper should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers/closed-toed shoes that are safe to walk/run in.

For soccer camp, all campers must also bring cleats, shin guards, and a soccer ball.

For basketball camp, all campers should bring a basketball.

For photography camp, all campers should bring a camera or phone to take pictures.

 

DO NOT bring anything extra to camp. 

Health & Safety Information

 

All campers and staff will need to wear a mask throughout the day.

 

All campers must upload a copy of their immunization record into UltraCamp.

A nurse is on-site for our camps while they are in session.

Upon arrival each day, you will be asked COVID-19 screening questions AND your child's temperature will be taken.
